MORANG, July 14: Koshi Province has been declared a fully-vaccinated province after all children of the designated age group in the province have been fully immunized as per the national immunization schedule.
Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki today declared the province as fully vaccinated.

The local governments have been providing free vaccines against tuberculosis (TB), whooping cough, diphtheria, hepatitis B, Haemophilus influenzae type B, polio, measles, rubella, Japanese encephalitis, pneumonia, rotavirus, typhoid, and cervical cancer to the children of the designated age group.
It is stated that 3,712 children of the 15-month age group in the province's 14 districts who had missed out the vaccination were fully immunized, and Koshi Province has been declared a fully vaccinated province.
