"It was not easy to hold the election peacefully on the slated time within six months after the Gen Z movement. The international community is closely watching this election," he mentioned.

The Acting Chief Commissioner opined, "This success was achieved not only from efforts of the EC alone.  We gave importance to political dialogue from the beginning with a belief that no one should prohibit anyone from election. So, we with the support of the government became successful in holding the discussion by keeping the rebel side, old political parties and new political groups in one table."

Recalling that they worked round the clock to hold the election amidst challenges as there was no other option except election to maintain discipline that was disrupted by the protest, he argued that the election was relatively frugal and systematic.

On the occasion, an electronic copy of election results book was released where the then Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, the then Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Anil Kumar Sinha, Election Commissioners—Dr Janaki Kumari Tuladhar and Sagun Shumsher JB Rana, representatives of political parties representing in the Federal Parliament, high-ranking officers of the government, representatives of the security bodies, election observers, among others were present.
