Mechi Customs collects Rs 1.5 bn revenue in a month, achieves 102.34 percent of target

For the current FY 2025/26, the revenue collection target has been fixed at Rs 18.87 billion.

JHAPA, Feb 19: The Mechi Customs Office has collected Rs 9.92 billion in revenue during the first seven months of the current Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26.



According to Information Officer Ishwor Kumar Humagain, the revenue collection target for the period was set at Rs 10.552 billion.

However, in the month of Magh (mid-January to mid-February) alone, the office collected Rs 1.51 billion. This amounts to 102.34 percent of the target set for Magh.


For the current FY 2025/26, the revenue collection target has been fixed at Rs 18.87 billion.
