Multiple voting in the same election to bring a fine of up to Rs 25,000

The Election Commission (EC) has warned voters not to vote multiple times in a single election. If a person is caught voting more than once, the presiding polling officer has the authority to impose a fine of up to Rs 25,000.

KATHMANDU, March 2: Voters found casting ballots more than once in the same election may face a fine of up to Rs 25,000.



The Election Commission (EC) has warned voters not to vote multiple times in a single election. If a person is caught voting more than once, the presiding polling officer has the authority to impose a fine of up to Rs 25,000.
