KATHMANDU, June 30: Nabil Bank has secured three recognitions at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal’s (ICAN) annual awards, retaining the gold award for the best annual report in the private sector banking category for the third consecutive year.
Along with the gold award, the bank also received Certificates of Merit in two newly introduced categories — the Corporate Governance Disclosure Award and the Sustainability Reporting Award — according to a statement issued by the bank.

The awards were presented at a ceremony held in Kathmandu on Tuesday by ICAN President CA Nil Bahadur Saru Magar to Nabil Bank CEO Manoj Kumar Gyawali and Chief Financial Officer Sandip Babu Paudel.
ICAN selected the award winners based on annual reports published for fiscal year 2025, assessing areas including financial transparency, accountability, corporate governance and sustainability, the bank said.
Nabil Bank had also won the gold award for its annual reports for 2023 and 2024. According to the bank, its latest award-winning report has been nominated for the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) BPA Awards.
The bank currently operates 266 branches and 318 ATMs across Nepal. It said it provides banking services to more than 2.5 million customers and has expanded digital banking services through its Nbank platform.
Nabil Bank has been operating in Nepal for four decades.
