KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal has met European Commission Executive Vice-President Teresa Ribera in New York.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly at UN headquarters, focused on various aspects of the Nepal-European Union partnership.

Khanal thanked Ribera for her message expressing sympathy and solidarity with Nepal following the devastating Bhotekoshi flood.
The two sides exchanged views on different areas of the Nepal-EU partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to deepen cooperation.
They focused particularly on strengthening cooperation in recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts in areas affected by the Bhotekoshi flood of August 26.
