KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Nepal secured their second consecutive victory in the ACC Premier Cup, defeating Malaysia by six wickets in the ongoing tournament in Malaysia on Thursday.
Chasing Malaysia’s target of 104, Nepal reached 107 for four in 21.4 overs. Arjun Kumal remained unbeaten on 45, while Ishan Pandey scored 20 and Dipendra Singh Airee finished unbeaten on 12.

Earlier, Malaysia, after winning the toss and electing to bat first, were bowled out for 103 in 32.3 overs.
Malaysia captain Syed Aziz top-scored with 30, while Aqeel Wahid contributed 24. Virandeep Singh and Muhamad Syahadat Ramli scored 14 and 13, respectively. No other Malaysian batter managed to reach double figures.
For Nepal, Karan KC took four wickets, while Lalit Rajbanshi claimed two. Hemant Dhami, Sandeep Lamichhane and Dipendra Singh Airee took one wicket each.
Nepal had defeated Bahrain in their opening match of the tournament. Nepal will next face Hong Kong on Sunday.
