KATHMANDU, May 1: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the LPG cooking gas price by Rs 150 per cylinder, reaching Rs 2,160 from Rs 2,010.
The government-owned oil monopoly has also revised fuel prices, cutting petrol by Rs 2 per litre and diesel and kerosene by Rs 12 per litre.
NOC hikes price of LPG by Rs 25 per cylinder
Following the revision, petrol in Kathmandu now costs Rs 217 per litre, down from Rs 219. In Surkhet and Dang, the price has decreased from Rs 218 to Rs 216.
However, aviation fuel prices have increased by Rs 7 per litre for domestic flights. For international flights, the price has been raised by USD 46 per kilolitre for Kathmandu.
