KATHMANDU, Aug 15: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has returned to Jhapa for the first time since the March 5 elections, making his first visit to the district since the polls.

Oli landed at Chandragadhi Airport in Jhapa on Saturday to attend an event in neighbouring Ilam and travelled there by road.
According to Tulsi Karki, secretary of the UML Jhapa chapter, Oli will stay in Ilam today. He is scheduled to return to Jhapa on Sunday to inaugurate the ‘Mission Party Awakening Campaign’ organized by the UML Jhapa chapter in Birtamod.
