SUNSARI, April 28: A person died in a road accident at Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-5 in the district last night.

Raj Biren Urau, 35, of Bhokraha-6 was seriously injured after a scooter (Ko 2 Pa 4589) hit him at Kalanki in Itahari along the East-West Highway, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Chandra Bahadur Khadka.
Urau was taken to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for treatment, where he died.
