MUSTANG, April 13: One person was injured after a jeep en route to the Nepal-China northern border point at Korala Pass met with an accident on Monday morning.
The vehicle, a Toyota Hilux jeep (registration number Ga 1 Cha 2255), was traveling from Kathmandu via Pokhara toward Korala when it lost control near the border area.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhesraj Giri of the Armed Police Force Nepal, the accident occurred on a steep road section about one kilometer south of Korala Pass.

The injured has been identified as 31-year-old driver Nagmin Subba of Tokha, Tarakeshwor Municipality-5, Kathmandu. A total of five people, including the driver, were on board the jeep at the time of the incident.
Giri said the injured driver was rescued by a team from the APF and is being transported to Jomsom Hospital for treatment.
