KATHMANDU, April 23: The government-led by Balen Shah has decided not to relocate the National Police Training Academy in Maharajgunj.
According to government spokesperson and Minister for Education, Science and Technology Sasmit Pokharel, a Cabinet meeting on Thursday resolved that the academy will continue using all its land as before.

The land had earlier been designated for transfer to the Office of the President under a Cabinet decision dated September 6, 2018.
The meeting also formed a negotiation team, led by a Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, to prepare agreements and documents related to securing a concessional loan of $115 million from the Asian Development Bank for the implementation of an integrated water supply and sewerage management project.
Additionally, the Cabinet decided to form a study task force under the coordination of the Information and Communication Technology Advisor to review software and IT-related matters across government agencies.
