KATHMANDU, Sept 15: The Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund has accumulated Rs 14.02 billion as of Tuesday morning.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Rs 10.41 billion has been deposited in nine different banks as of 9 am Tuesday. The fund’s dollar accounts at two other banks hold $2.37 million.
The government released Rs 1 billion from the fund through the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) a few days ago for victims of the recent Bhotekoshi River floods in Rasuwa and Nuwakot.
