The notice states that power supply will be shut down to facilitate maintenance and upgrading works at the 132 kV Syuchatar Substation by placing its bus system under shutdown.
“Power supply will be affected from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, 2083/02/23, in the locations listed below that fall under various feeders within the service areas of the distribution centers supplied through the 132 kV Syuchatar and Teku substations,” the notice reads.
The project has also warned that the shutdown may affect distribution systems receiving electricity from other substations within the Kathmandu Valley.
In addition, the authority said that the scheduled timing may be altered if weather conditions become unfavorable.
The NEA stated that every effort will be made to complete the work within the designated period and apologized to consumers for the inconvenience caused by the temporary power interruption.
