KATHMANDU, May 2: President Ram Chandra Paudel has promulgated three more ordinances including provisions related to health science academies, universities and the removal of a few public office holders.
The ordinances issued are the Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Health Science Academies, 2083, the Special Provision Ordinance on Removal of Public Office Holders, 2083, and the Ordinance to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Universities, 2083.

According to Ritesh Kumar Shakya, spokesperson for the Office of the President, President Paudel also issued the Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2083 upon the government’s recommendation.
The President’s Office stated that the ordinances were promulgated in accordance with Article 114(1) of the Constitution.
Earlier, President Paudel had also issued ordinances related to cooperatives and public procurement reforms.
The government had recommended additional ordinances, including one concerning the Constitutional Council. However, the President is still reviewing those proposals.
As part of the process, President Paudel held consultations with legal experts at Shital Niwas. A source at the President’s Office said the ordinance related to the Constitutional Council has not been included in the decisions taken so far.
