KATHMANDU, May 15: Professor Dr Rishikesh Wagle has been assigned the responsibility of carrying out the day-to-day duties of Vice-Chancellor at Kathmandu University.

Prime Minister and University Chancellor Balendra Shah appointed Dr Wagle to the vacant post following a decision made on April 13.
Dr Wagle is the former dean of the university’s Faculty of Law. According to the university, he officially assumed office on Friday.
