KATHMANDU, April 10: Qatar has granted a royal amnesty to three Nepali nationals on the occasion of Ramadan, Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said on Friday.
According to MoFA Spokesperson Lok Bahadur Paudel Chhetri, the pardon was issued by the Amir of Qatar as part of the traditional clemency granted during the holy month of Ramadan.

Following the decision, the Government of Nepal expressed gratitude to Qatar for the gesture.
Officials said the move reflects the longstanding diplomatic ties between Nepal and Qatar, expressing confidence that the relationship between the two countries will continue to strengthen.
Qatar has previously granted pardons to foreign nationals, including Nepalis, during Ramadan on humanitarian grounds.
