KATHMANDU, Dec 19: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane arrived at Bharatpur Airport in Chitwan on a Buddha Air flight and is now traveling by road to Bhairahawa.
He was supposed to fly directly to Bhairahawa this morning. However, the flight diversion came after heavy fog at Bhairahawa Airport reduced visibility, preventing him from landing there directly. Lamichhane had been grounded at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu from early morning until noon on Friday due to the poor weather conditions.

Lamichhane, who is serving behind jail until final verdict in the cooperative scam, had been released on bail equivalent to the fine by the Butwal bench of the Tulsipur High Court on Wednesday.
Following which he had left Nakhu Prison and was en route to the Rupandehi District Court to complete the bail procedures.
