Speaking at the program, KC said federalism should be scrapped and stressed the need to protect the country’s nationality, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He alleged that during the previous government, those in power attempted to dissolve the ongoing parliament and conduct elections by forming a government comprising NGO and INGO-affiliated individuals, as their objectives could not be fulfilled through the existing state mechanism.
KC further claimed that those who joined the government, believing elections would not be held later resigned and entered the electoral race after realizing that polls would take place, prioritizing their own interests.
Stating that Nepal and its people are currently facing a serious crisis, KC said the country’s national identity itself is in a precarious situation.
He also remarked that individuals who push the country into difficult circumstances tend to come to power after every election, and urged voters to act responsibly this time and send to parliament those who can genuinely work in the national interest.
