Seven injured as ambulance, mini-truck collide

A mini-truck (Ga 1 Kha 5659) on its route to Damauli from Pokhara and an ambulance (Lu Pra 01-001 Jha 0046) from the opposite direction collided head-on, leaving seven persons injured.

DAMAULI, June 4: Seven people were injured in a mini-truck and ambulance collision incident that took place at Manahari of Myagde Rural Municipality-6 in Tanahun district along the Prithivi Highway this morning.



A mini-truck (Ga 1 Kha 5659) on its route to Damauli from Pokhara and an ambulance (Lu Pra 01-001 Jha 0046) from the opposite direction collided head-on, leaving seven persons injured.

Police Inspector of District Police Office, Tanahun, Dipak Kumar Karki, shared that the driver of the mini-truck and six persons travelling in the ambulance were injured. The condition of 25-year-old Anjana Budha Magar from Thawang Rural Municipality-2 in Rolpa district is critical, Police Inspector Karki added.  


Most of the injured are from Thawang Rural Municipality in Rolpa district and Bhume Rural Municipality in Rukum Purba district. 


All the injured people are receiving treatment at GP Koirala Respiratory Treatment Centre at Belchautara in Tanahun.
