Shangrila Motors launches Leapmotor B10 in Nepal at Rs 5.499 million

KATHMANDU, June 15: Shangrila Motors has launched the Leapmotor B10 (2026 model, top variant) in Nepal at a price of Rs 5.499 million, reduced from its earlier price of Rs 6 million, the company said in a press release.



The company said the price reduction comes despite broader market pressure, where rising foreign exchange rates and expected changes in import duties have led several automotive brands to increase prices by around 5 to 10 percent. According to the press release, Shangrila Motors has absorbed the additional costs without passing them on to customers.

The Leapmotor B10 is positioned as a feature-equipped electric SUV offering a combination of safety, driving range, and in-car technology. As per the company, the vehicle has received a Euro NCAP 5-star safety rating and is equipped with a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) along with a standard spare tyre.


In terms of performance, the EV comes with a 160 kW electric motor paired with a 67.1 kWh battery, offering a claimed range of up to 600 km (CLTC). It also features 180 mm ground clearance.


The interior includes features such as heated and ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.


The press release also states that Leapmotor is a globally established electric vehicle brand backed by Stellantis, which owns multiple automotive brands including Maserati, Jeep, and Peugeot. It further notes that Leapmotor has sold over one million vehicles globally and delivered 81,569 units in May alone, with a network of more than 1,700 sales and service points across over 40 countries.
