KATHMANDU, July 9: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has reappointed Sudan Gurung as Home Minister.
Earlier, Gurung had stepped down from the post following allegations over his business dealings and assets, which were later investigated by a government-formed committee. The committee has since submitted its report, clearing the way for his return.

The prime minister has also appointed Mahabir Pun as Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation.
Both ministers are scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy at 3 PM today, according to a source at Baluwatar.
