KATHMANDU, July 2: Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah has been fined Rs 500 after a video showing him riding a motorcycle without a helmet went viral on social media.
Traffic Police visited the chief minister's residence and imposed the fine for violating traffic rules.

The video, which was posted on TikTok by the CM's Chief Personal Secretary, Prayag Raj Khanal, prompted TikTok users to tag Nepal Police and demand action against Shahi.
After being penalized, Shahi not only admitted his mistake but also urged everyone to strictly follow traffic rules.
Earlier, Traffic Police had also taken action against federal lawmaker Harka Raj Rai Sampang for violating traffic rules.
