The publication highlights Nepal’s trail bridge programme, which has expanded from 29 bridges in its early phase to over 10,000 bridges by 2023, improving connectivity in remote areas.
The photobook documents the programme’s development and its impact on access to education, healthcare, and markets through community-driven approaches.
Swiss Ambassador Danielle Meuwly said the achievement was about “lives changed” rather than numbers, while Markus Leitner highlighted international cooperation in solving local challenges.
The publication marks a milestone in Switzerland–Nepal relations and ongoing development collaboration, the press release said.
