KATHMANDU, April 20: Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) will remain closed for nearly seven hours each night until May 18, the airport office said on Monday.
The closure will be enforced from 11:45 pm to 6:30 am to facilitate construction works near the runway under the airport improvement project.

Issuing a NOTAM, the airport office said the revised schedule will come into effect from Monday night and continue daily until May 18, reducing overall flight operating hours.
Previously, the airport had been operating until 1:00 am.
