CHITWAN, Sept 12: A 34-year-old worker died after being hit by a truck while sleeping at the gate of a factory in Bharatpur on Saturday morning.
According to police, Chandra Bahadur Thada Magar, a resident of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-5, was sleeping at the gate of the Sadgun Dana factory in Bharatpur-8 at around 3:30 am when a truck (Na 5 Kha 8465) hit him.

Magar, who worked at the factory, sustained injuries to various parts of his body in the incident. He was rushed to Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur for treatment but died at around 6:26 am while undergoing treatment, police said.
Police have taken Sarfraz Alam, 23, of Birgunj Metropolitan City-21, who was driving the truck, into custody for investigation.
