KATHMANDU, June 23: The CPN-UML has called a parliamentary party meeting and a central secretariat meeting.
The parliamentary party meeting has been scheduled for 2 PM today at the party central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur. The secretariat meeting will be held at 6 PM at Chair KP Sharma Oli’s residence in Gundu, Bhaktapur.
UML calls secretariat meeting on Friday
The meetings are expected to discuss the arrest of Vice-chair Bishnu Prasad Paudel and the party’s future strategy.
Meanwhile, Paudel, who was arrested from Nepalgunj in Banke on Monday on the recommendation of the Department of Money Laundering Investigation (DoLMI), has been brought to Kathmandu for questioning. He will be presented before the Department of Money Laundering Investigation in Pulchowk, Lalitpur, for questioning.
