KATHMANDU, July 3: The CPN-UML has described the first 100 days of the government led by Prime Minister Balen Shah as immature, weak and controversial, accusing it of failing to deliver on governance reforms and public expectations.
In a statement issued by General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, the opposition party said the government's performance had been "completely unsuccessful" in promoting good governance and administrative reform.

The UML also alleged that members of the prime minister's and ministers' private secretariats had been linked to corruption and vested interests, claiming evidence was gradually emerging.
The party further accused the government of focusing on populist measures and controversial decisions instead of implementing its 100-point reform agenda and addressing the country's economic challenges and governance issues.
