Rautahat, June 28: The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist), UML, Madhesh Province Committee has begun reviewing its performance in recent elections while collecting suggestions for reorganizing the party in the province.

The review, involving the party's local, provincial, and federal leaders, is assessing UML's presence and performance across Madhesh. Based on the findings, the party is preparing to launch a province-wide reorganization campaign.
A meeting held in Bardibas on Sunday brought together provincial and district-level leaders to discuss ways to make the party organization stronger, more effective, and more people-focused.
The meeting was chaired by Lilanath Shrestha. Ram Bahadur Thapa attended as the chief guest, while UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel and Central Secretary Bhanubhakta Dhakal were among the senior leaders present.
The gathering included central committee members from Madhesh Province, district committee office bearers, and leaders holding responsibilities at different levels of the party.
According to Ajay Gupta, participants carried out a detailed review of the recent election results, the party's organizational status, and trends in public support.
Discussions also focused on the party's strengths and weaknesses, challenges in expanding its organization, and ways to make UML more effective in the changing political landscape.
Leaders stressed that the election results should not be viewed only in terms of victory or defeat but also as an opportunity to strengthen the party's organization.
The Madhesh Province Committee said discussions on future political strategy, organizational reform, and expanding the party's support base are continuing.
