UML Vice Chair Bishnu Paudel remanded for five more days in money laundering probe

The Special Court has granted investigators five more days to keep Bishnu Prasad Paudel in custody for investigation in a money laundering case. A joint bench of judges Narayan Prasad Paudel and Bidur Koirala issued the remand order on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, July 8: The Special Court has granted investigators five more days to keep Bishnu Prasad Paudel in custody for investigation in a money laundering case.



A joint bench of judges Narayan Prasad Paudel and Bidur Koirala issued the remand order on Wednesday.

Paudel was arrested in Surkhet on June 22 as part of an investigation being conducted by the Department of Money Laundering Investigation. The latest order allows authorities to continue questioning him for an additional five days.
