KATHMANDU, May 26: Light to moderate rainfall has been predicted across the country today. A few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are likely to receive moderate rainfall.
Light to moderate rainfall, coupled with thunder and lightning, is also forecast in Madhesh Province and the Tarai belts of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
Weather changes with rains for next three days
The southern plains of Sudurpaschim and Lumbini provinces are experiencing hotter days. Similarly, a few places in the Tarai belts of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as Madhesh Province, are likely to witness storms.
Currently, Nepal is experiencing the effects of westerly winds and local winds, while a low-pressure system is near the eastern part of the country. This has resulted in rainfall in some places, including the Kathmandu Valley, early in the morning.
