KATHMANDU, Sept 21: A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a tanker on the road in Godavari Municipality-12, Lalitpur.
The incident involved a tanker numbered (Ba 3 Ka 2845), which collided with a motorcycle numbered (Bagmati Province 02-059 Pa 6382). The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Kamal Singh Thakuri, a resident of Kailali, currently living in the Thecho area.

Thakuri, who sustained severe injuries in the accident, died while undergoing treatment at Patan Academy of Health Sciences.
The tanker driver has been taken into police custody.
