Police urge fans not to crowd outside TU Int’l Cricket Ground as NPL tickets are already sold out

KATHMANDU, Nov 17: Nepal Police has requested the public not to gather unnecessarily around the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, where the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) begins today.



Issuing a notice on Monday, District Police Range, Kathmandu, said all tickets for today’s match have already been sold out, urging spectators not to crowd outside the ground.

Superintendent of Police Pawan Kumar Bhattarai said they received confirmation from the concerned authorities that tickets are fully booked and therefore asked fans to avoid gathering around the stadium.


Police have also urged cricket fans to watch the game from suitable locations, refrain from forming crowds outside the ground, and cooperate with security personnel to help maintain order.
