The vehicle ran over Sub Inspector Yadav while attempting to stop a gang involved in liquor smuggling. Investigations revealed that five people, both Indian and Nepali, were involved in the incident.

Vice-chairs Renu Yadav and Pradeep Yadav also returned with the majority of central members, strengthening the unified front. Analysts say the merger signals a move beyond narrow regional and community-based politics.

Although all seven parties that supported Yadav are set to join the government, ministerial allocations remain unresolved.

Newly appointed CM Yadav said his first priority is to end irregularities in Madhesh Province. “Our first task is to bring the province back on track and ensure good governance,” he said.

All seven parties plan to jointly stake their claim to form the government at 2 PM today.
