JANAKPUR, Feb 18: The founding chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Madhesh Province, Mamata Sharma, has left the party.

Sharma joined the Nepali Congress (NC) just ahead of the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) elections. She was welcomed by top NC leaders, including Party President Gagan Thapa at a NC Pratigya Sabha (i.e. pledge assembly) held in Janakpur.
