KATHMANDU, Aug 15: A clash broke out in Manohara after the municipal police of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) deployed bulldozers to demolish a squatter settlement in Manohara.

The altercation broke out following the demolition, when squatters confronted municipal police personnel. According to reports, locals hurled bricks and stones at the municipal police, prompting baton charges to disperse the crowd.
