KATHMANDU, Oct 24: District Administration Office, Kathmandu has appealed to all to organize cultural programs like deusi and bhailo on the occasion of the Tihar festival only up to 10 pm.

A press release issued today by DAO Kathmandu has asked all to organize such programs only after taking permission from house owners and warned action against those going against the appeal.
The DAO Kathmandu also requested the Tihar and Chhath celebrators not to produce, import, export, sell and distribute, transport and use fireworks like fire-crackers etc, as the use of these explosive materials will have adverse effect on the health of the people, result in injuries and damage of life and property due to break out of fire.
