Govt collects Rs 2.14 billion in revenue from mineral-based industries

KATHMANDU, April 11: The government has collected Rs 2.14 billion in revenue from mineral-based industries over the last fiscal year and the first eight months of the current fiscal year.



According to the Department of Mines and Geology, the revenue was generated through mining permits and renewal fees for extracting minerals such as limestone, red soil, metals, and stones.
