Govt to expand scholarships to marginalized students from grade 6 to 12

KATHMANDU, May 28: The government has extended scholarships to students from marginalized and underprivileged communities from grades 6 to 12.

KATHMANDU, May 28: The government has extended scholarships to students from marginalized and underprivileged communities from grades 6 to 12. Previously, only students from grades 9 to 12 were eligible for such scholarships. 



During the budget presentation in parliament on Tuesday, Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun announced the expansion of this program, benefiting an additional 45,000 students. The government has allocated Rs 600 million for the distribution of scholarships across all levels of education.
