KATHMANDU, Dec 30: Kulman Ghising, who oversees the Ministries of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, described the merger of his party, Ujyalo Nepal Party, with the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) as historic.

Taking to social media on Tuesday, Ghising said the unification prioritizes the people’s aspirations and the nation’s interest over personal positions or gain. “We have come together to pave the way for a brighter future, placing the country’s welfare above individual ambitions,” he said.
He added that the merger reflects a strong commitment to steer the country toward the right path and strengthen the Ujyalo Nepal campaign, expressing confidence in continued public support.
