KATHMANDU, August 26: Bibeksheel Sajha Party organized a protest rally jingling bells against the decision of Tribhuvan University (TU) to grant affiliation to Kathmandu Medical College.
The party organized a gathering at Maitighar Mandala on Saturday condemning the decision of the TU and demanding the immediate scrap of the affiliation.

The protestors accused Vice-Chancellor of TU, Dr Tirtha Khaniya of being driven by the mafias and making the decision to affiliate the college despite lack of infrastructure.
