RSP calls Parliamentary Party meeting amid controversy over ordinance move

KATHMANDU, April 29: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has called a Parliamentary Party meeting for 11 AM amid the government’s decision to introduce two ordinances to amend laws related to the Constitutional Council. The move has faced strong backlash even from some ruling party lawmakers.

RSP Spokesperson Manish Jha said the meeting is scheduled for 11 AM at the Parliamentary Party office in Singha Durbar. He also said party Chair Rabi Lamichhane is scheduled to attend the meeting.
