RSP’s Bipin Acharya wins from Dang–2

KATHMANDU, March 7: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Bipin Kumar Acharya has been elected from Dang–2.

Acharya won with 43,557 votes. His closest rival, CPN-UML candidate Shankar Pokhrel, secured 15,282 votes. This is Pokhrel’s second consecutive defeat.


Nepali Congress candidate Kirankishor Ghimire received 11,277 votes, while Nepali Communist Party candidate Nirmal Acharya secured 7,080 votes.
