KATHMANDU, Sept 23: Former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal’s wife, Ravi Laxmi Chitrakar, has begun treatment at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi.

She was seriously injured in the fire that broke out at Khanal’s residence during the Gen-Z protest on September 8 and 9. On Monday night, she was airlifted to Delhi by an air ambulance. Doctors amputated her left arm during treatment.
