“Gagan-Bishwa proposed me to run in election, but I declined”: Gen Z activist Rakshya Bam

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Nepal Gen Z Front Coordinator Rakshya Bam has said that Nepali Congress (NC) President Gagan Thapa and Vice-President Bishwa Prakash Sharma had offered her to contest the election under the NC banner, but she declined.

Her comments came in response to social media reports suggesting that she would contest the House of Representatives (HoR) election scheduled for March 5 from Kathmandu Constituency-1, which she dismissed as “baseless.”


“With all good intentions, they proposed that I contest the election, but I declined,” Bam told Republica.
