According to Tribhuvan International Airport’s Acting Director General Tek Nath Sitaula, the aircraft had already begun its take-off run after receiving clearance when an indication signalled a technical issue, prompting the crew to halt the aircraft.

“After an indication showed a problem, the aircraft, which had already started its run, was stopped and brought back,” he said, adding that the plane will resume its flight after a technical inspection.
