KATHMANDU, Feb 8 : Indra Baniya has been elected as the Parliamentary Party (PP) leader of Nepali Congress for Province-3 on Thrusday.
He was elected unopposed through the meeting held at Kathmandu, today.

Former party central member Dr Rajaram Karki was also in competition but the meeting finally has decided Baniya as the PP leader of the Party. Party had given the responsibility to central member Mahalaxmi Upadhaya to choose the PP leader for Province-3.
Baniya was elected as provincial assembly member from Makawanpur -2 ‘B’.
