KATHMANDU, March 1: Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged the government to make effective arrangements to ensure the safety of Nepali citizens in the Middle East.
Expressing deep concern over the escalating tensions in the Middle East following attacks on Iran by the United States and Israel, Dahal said the evolving situation could have serious implications for the region.

“In this context, the safety of hundreds of thousands of Nepalis working in the Middle East is our top priority,” Dahal said. “As the developing situation could directly affect them, I urge the Government of Nepal to exercise high vigilance, undertake necessary diplomatic initiatives, and make effective arrangements to ensure that no harm comes to any Nepali citizen.”
