KATHMANDU, April 17: Ambassadors of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have separately paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs Shishir Khanal.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared that the envoys of both the nations held separate meetings with Minister Khanal at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.

In a meeting with Ambassador of Saudi Arab to Nepal Fahd Mohammad A. Manikhr, matters related to further expansion of collaboration between the two countries as well as attracting Saudi investment in different areas of socio-economic development of Nepal were discussed.
Likewise, in the meeting with UAE's Ambassador Abdulla Al Shamsi ideas were exchanged on consolidating long-term relations between Nepal and the UAE.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussion was also held on matters related to enhancing economic partnership, identifying new areas for collaboration and expanding cooperation at bilateral, trilateral and multilateral levels.
