KATHMANDU, April 26: Gold prices in the domestic market surged on Sunday, rising by Rs 2,700 per tola after a continuous decline since April 22.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 299,200 per tola for the day. On Friday, gold had dropped by Rs 2,200 per tola to Rs 296,500.

Silver prices also saw an increase, going up by Rs 50 per tola to reach Rs 4,995.
In the international market, gold is being traded at USD 4,708.69 per ounce, while silver stands at USD 75.69 per ounce.
